This racing kit allows you to install the steering damper in a lateral position on your Yamaha R7.<\/p>\n
The kit consists of two elements in aluminum alloy (Anticorodal), CNC machined with 3D technology, subsequently treated with natural anodic oxidation.<\/p>\n
The first element has to be mounted on the left side of the frame; the second one has to be mounted on the lower fork bridge and supports the \u201cbody\u201d of the shock absorber.<\/p>\n
Screws and washers for assembly are included with the kit.<\/p>\n
The steering damper used must have a stroke of at least 140mm.<\/p>\n
NOTE – Installation is only possible on racing bikes and with limited steering angle (RACE USE ONLY).<\/p>\n
Why installing the steering damper laterally?<\/p>\n
The use of the lateral steering damper is a real \u201cmust\u201d on racing bikes, because it allows for a faster, smoother and more progressive hydraulic response of the damper.<\/p>\n
These advantages are due to its lateral position, which is technically more correct.<\/p>\n
